Benedikt Steiner

Benedikt is a chartered geologist with 11 year's experience in the international resource industry, and a published expert in mineral exploration geochemistry and exploration targeting.  He is credited with the discovery of a new mineral system in the Vosges Mountains, France.  Also, he has experience operating in challenging remote environments, e.g. Central Africa, Burma, and speaks several languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Afrikaans).

He worked for Rio Tinto Exploration in Namibia and Zambia, before founding his own company XPLORE.GLOBAL.  Benedikt specialises in mineral exploration geosciences, and is also involved in Operations Support & HSEC.  Benedikt currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer and MSc Programme Director in Exploration & Mining Geology, Camborne School of Mines, UK, and is Guest Lecturer in Economic Geology at various EU locations.
